Migrate from Shield to AuthoredUp in four steps
Switching tools usually means losing your history. Not here. Create an account, then pick how far back you want your analytics to go.

Start here. The rest of the migration is something you can do at your own pace, and we're here if you need help along the way. This is the only step that matters today. Once you're in, the rest is easy and we're here to help.
Install the Chrome extension
AuthoredUp works inside your LinkedIn feed, where you already write and post. It only reads what's on your screen. It doesn't use your login cookie, and it doesn't automate anything. That's how it stays inside LinkedIn's terms.
Pick how far back you want to go
Two ways to do it. Either one works on its own. You can also do both.
Option A.
Just use AuthoredUp
Open LinkedIn, go to your profile, and scroll through your posts. AuthoredUp pulls each post into your dashboard as you go. No exports, no waiting.
Best if you mainly care about your recent posting history. Works as far back as you're willing to scroll.
Option B.
Import LinkedIn archive + your Shield CSV.
If you want every post you've ever published, this is the path. You'll need two files:
• LinkedIn data archive. In LinkedIn, go to Settings, then Data Privacy, then Get a copy of your data. Request the full archive. LinkedIn takes 24 to 48 hours to prepare it and emails you when it's ready.
• Shield CSV. Log in at app.shieldapp.ai while your account is still open. Export the full CSV, save it somewhere safe.
Upload both files into AuthoredUp.
You're done
Your LinkedIn history is in AuthoredUp. Your analytics are running. From here, you can publish new posts, schedule them, format them, and keep tracking how they perform.
Nothing is lost. Welcome over.
Shield Analytics vs AuthoredUp
Shield did one thing well: LinkedIn analytics. AuthoredUp does that, plus the writing, formatting, and scheduling. And it works for company pages.

What you keep when you move to AuthoredUp
Here's what changes, and what stays the same.
Your full analytics history
Your Shield CSV import brings your posts and metrics across. The extension and LinkedIn data archive options extend that further back. You don't restart from zero, and you don't lose the benchmarks you've spent years building.
Analytics, kept going
The dashboard, post comparisons, follower curves, and engagement tracking work the way you're used to. If you used Shield to figure out which posts worked, that habit moves with you.
Writing and scheduling, included
Shield handled analytics. AuthoredUp handles analytics, plus writing, formatting, and scheduling, all in the same place. You don't switch apps to act on what your numbers tell you. If you only want the analytics part, that's fine too. Use what you need.
No cookie, no automation
AuthoredUp only reads what's on your screen in LinkedIn. It doesn't use your login cookie and doesn't automate anything. There's a real trade-off (more manual, some data isn't available), but it's why we don't run into the kind of trouble that puts tools out of business.
