AuthoredUp has two sets of features for the editor.
Standalone features that don't depend on LinkedIn integration, like drafts, hooks, accessing published posts and
Features that depend on the LinkedIn editor (attachments, mentions, posting etc.).
In order to access LinkedIn's full capabilities, like attaching documents or submitting a post, we need to have LinkedIn's post editor open underneath AuthoredUp.
You can tell whether this is the case by the color of AuthoredUp's side-bar:
- Green = only AuthoredUp
- Blue = AuthoredUp + LinkedIn
Click the "Start a post" button, and we will move you to the top of your feed and open a new post. The sidebar will turn blue, and you will be able to post.
